Committee On Leadership:
Get Involved! Serve on the Committee on Leadership (COL)

The COL is a group of alumnae and collegiate members that works on the nomination and slating of the International Executive Board. Now is your chance to get involved at the Alpha Phi International level!

TERM: July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008

ELIGIBILITY: Any collegiate member in good standing, who will be an active chapter member and full-time student through the end of spring semester 2008.

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Average of 1 conference call per month with the possibility of more during the months of October and November 2007
  • Read and respond to e-mail and other COL correspondence in a timely manner. (heaviest volume from October 2007 – February 2008)
  • Read and evaluate applications and references and complete evaluation form. (September 2007 - November 2007)
  • Participate in candidate interviews, provide notes and evaluate all. (November 2007 – February 2007)
  • In person, three-day weekend meeting in Evanston, Ill., in early 2008.
  • HOW TO APPLY:

  • In February 2007 go to the Alpha Phi website at www.alphaphi.org
  • Click on "Collegiate Information" and find the "Collegiate Member Application for Committee on Leadership." Additional information and how to submit your application are included.
  • Applications due March 9, 2007.
