67th Biennial Convention
Michaelanean Award
The Michaelanean Award was first presented at the 1972 Centennial Convention. It is presented each biennium to those alumnae members of the Fraternity who have shown outstanding loyalty and continuous devotion to Alpha Phi on the local level. Alumnae who have held office on the Regional or International level, either elected or appointed, are ineligible for consideration. Please be sure your nominee has not held a Regional or International office while living in another area.
· Each individual alumnae chapter or individual alumna may nominate one person. Applicants may also self-nominate. Please do not wait for someone else to nominate a deserving candidate…do it yourself!
· Please complete the below online form for your nomination, or click here for a printable version. Include a photograph if available.
· Nominations are due to the Executive Office by Friday, March 28, 2008.
· All Alpha Phis who have not previously won this award are eligible.
· Nominees and applicants must be current members in good standing.
· Certificates of Honor will be presented at Convention.
· Recipients will be notified by May 30, 2008, that they have been selected to receive the award.
· If a recipient is not present at Convention, her certificate will be mailed to her following Convention.
