You may wonder how our
chapters have been able to continue to exist in a
state of excellence for more than 130 years. It’s
due to the incredible network that provides support
at the local, regional and international levels.
Each Alpha Phi chapter is assisted by trained,
caring women who spend time and energies devoted to
making Alpha Phi the best it can be. These women
include:
·
Advisory Board:
local volunteers who spend their free time working
with the collegiate chapter officers. Advisory board
members are trained on an annual basis to keep
themselves fresh and up-to-date on the Fraternity’s
programming. They attend meetings and events, while
serving as the chapters primary support network.
·
House Corporation Board:
if a chapter has a facility, a house corporation
board (HCB) comprised of volunteers is there each
step of the way and every day to ensure that the
members have a safe, healthy place to call home.
·
Regional Team:
regional volunteers assist our chapters in specialty
areas. They provide guidance to chapter members and
their advisory boards; they also plan and execute
annual trainings within the region. These women are
just a phone call or e-mail away.
·
Educational Leadership Consultants:
these recent graduates spend a school year traveling
from chapter to chapter. During these visits, they
analyze a chapter’s operations, programming and
recruitment and offer recommendations for improving
the chapter’s functions.
·
Executive Office Staff:
the Fraternity chapters and volunteers are supported
by a full-time, professional staff that is available
via phone, e-mail or in-person to assist our
chapters and members.
