Alpha Phi chapters organize a six-week new member
period called The Prelude to introduce you to
our beloved Fraternity. This period allows you to
get to know the other members of your new member
class, the chapter members and Alpha Phi’s rich
history.
Your period as a new member is the first opportunity
to understand the meaning of our organization and
the values and ideals upon which she was founded. It
also provides you with an introduction to the
responsibilities, expectations and opportunities of
membership.
Alpha Phi has a strict no hazing policy. During your
introduction to Alpha Phi, you should never find
yourself in an uncomfortable situation. If you feel
awkward, never hesitate to speak with your new
member educator, the chapter president or chapter
advisor.
