§         COB:  COB (continuous open bidding) is an opportunity to pledge a sorority outside of formal recruitment.

§         National Panhellenic Conference: the governing body of 26 inter/national sororities.

§         “No Frills” Recruitment:  an effort to eliminate high cost and time demands for decorating and entertainment. Recruitment focuses on quality communication between chapter members and potential members.

§         PNM: potential new member.

§         Preferential Bidding:  mutual selection system for chapters and potential members.

§         Recruitment Counselor: serves as your guide through the recruitment process.

§         Quota:  the number each NPC sorority may pledge on a campus during formal recruitment.
