Alpha Phi is a dynamic group of women on all of her
campuses. Whether you are a scholar, an athlete or a
beauty queen, Alpha Phi is a home for you. In Alpha
Phi, you will find that friendships develop beyond
surface level and blossom into lifelong connections.
In Alpha Phi, you will meet your study buddies, your
bridesmaids, your fellow car pool drivers –your
support network for college and beyond.
Your college years will be filled with hours in
class, the library and studying at your desk. You
will also find time to meet new people and explore
the social scene on your campus. Alpha Phi is a
great way to meet new friends and make campus
connections.
These connections may be found by attending mixers
or exchanges, thru Homecoming or Greek Week events,
formal dinner dances or just hanging out. Not only
will you have fun with your Alpha Phi sisters, but
you will also work to keep each other safe. Alpha
Phis keep an eye on each other through our Watchcare
program. As a member, you will practice this
time-honored tradition that began with our Founders.
The best part of joining a sorority is the
friendship and fun that ensues from those
relationships. By joining a sorority, you will
always have someone to head to the library with you,
someone to chat with as you walk to class in the
morning, someone to talk with about a boy, someone
to loan you a sweatshirt or someone to be your
shopping partner. These friendships will transform
from collegiate situations to those of determining
which profession to pursue, what job to take, which
car to buy and who will be at your side as you walk
down the aisle.
The friendships made in college will last throughout
your lifetime. Your sisters will see you in good
times and in bad, and they will be there to pick you
up and cheer you on. You will have the traditions
and rituals of Alpha Phi in your minds and the
treasure of true friendship in your heart.
Sisterhood in the culmination of countless
friendships! When you find yourself in a room of
Alpha Phis, you will quickly realize that their
bonds of friendship create an amazing energy. This
sisterhood shows through in their recruitment
events, social affairs and campus activities.
Sisterhood is knowing that you have not one but
dozens of women supporting you throughout your
college experience.
College life is a balancing act between meeting new
people, studying and finding your own identity.
Through all of this, you will find that Alpha Phi
nurtures you toward the person you hope to become
and into the woman you have always wanted to be.
Alpha Phi is a conduit to skill development and
career opportunities. Each Alpha Phi you meet –
collegiate or alumnae – will enhance your experience
and grow your personal skills.
Alpha Phi is a network for scholastic support and
social satisfaction, but it also provides an
opportunity to expand your leadership portfolio.
Every Alpha Phi chapter is managed by chapter
members who serve in various leadership positions.
These opportunities vary by chapter size and range
from treasurer to new member educator to event
planner to member development to chapter president.
